Beta 3 is to a good part a complete re-development, because we now eliminated anytype for all parameters and return values, replacing them with xsd_string and xsd_stringarray. Thus making SoapGateQ compatible with more development platforms (Java/Eclipse and .net) or easier to implement respectively.

As a side-effect we also eliminated the use of the variant data type in our Lotus Script based web services resulting in much faster code. This created a visible performance boost.

As part of our testing routine we started using SoapUI as our main tool to run basic tests against all SoapGateQ web service functions. Feel free to use our SoapUI test project (see attached file) to check out for yourself what you can do with SoapGateQ. We included for each web service function a request message with valid parameters so you get some meaningful results.

Please note that the documentation provided in the download page is not up to date yet. We will provide SoapGateQ Beta 3 as well as FlexGateQ Beta 3 this week.
